Prepare for the migration by gathering the necessary information, including your existing WABA details and your existing BSP's requirements.
To start the migration process, disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in your existing WhatsApp API account. This is a critical step as 2FA can hinder migration. Follow the steps provided by your current BSP to turn off 2FA. You can turn it back on once you have completed the whole process.
In your new BSP's platform (in this case, com.bot), create a new WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) to which you'll migrate your number. Ensure that you select the same business account where your current WABA is registered to avoid migration issues.
In the new WABA setup, select the option to create a new WhatsApp Business account.
Enter your WABA display name, which should match your existing one.
Enter your phone number that you want to migrate.
You should receive an error indicating that the number is already registered on WhatsApp. This is expected and necessary to trigger the migration process.
Now, set up payment settings for your new WABA account. You may need to enter your card details for billing purposes. Additionally, provide your business details, including your GST number (if applicable). Billing may vary depending on your location and business type.
After configuring your payment settings and business details, return to the migration panel.
Confirm that you have set the payment method and click "Verify and Proceed."
WhatsApp will send an OTP to your WhatsApp number (either by SMS or phone call).
Enter the OTP received and create a six-digit PIN for two-factor authentication.
This PIN is essential for your account's security.
Your migration process is now complete.
Migrating your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) from one Business Service Provider (BSP) to another can be straightforward if you follow these steps diligently. Remember that the specific steps and requirements may vary based on your current and new BSPs.
After signing up, you will receive an email with login details (which you can change later) in your email. You can use that to sign into your Com bot account at
